Mercedes College offers young women in Years 7-12 an outstanding Catholic education based on the Mercy values of compassion, justice, excellence, integrity and service. Established in 1846 by the Sisters of Mercy, the College continues the long and proud Mercy tradition of service to others and the pursuit of academic, cultural and sporting excellence.
The College employs approximataely 140 staff in Teaching, Administration, Finance, Grounds and Maintenance, Information Technology, and Marketing and Community Relations.

Application Process
Families are selected for interview based on the Enrolment Policy below. The interview process for Year 7, 2020 has been completed however applications for 2019 and 2020 are welcome and places are subject to availability. An Enrolment Application and supporting documents (below) should be forwarded to the College as soon as possible. The interview process for Year 7, 2021 has commenced and will take place throughout Terms 1 and 2.
Enrolment Policy
In accepting students, the following priorities are considered:
1. Catholic students with reference of religious commitment of family from the parish priest.
2. Families with siblings, or who have attended, and who are supportive of policies and conditions.
3. Daughters of past students.
4. Other Catholic students.
5. Non-Catholic students from Catholic schools.
6. Non-Catholic students from other Christian denominations
7. Other non-Catholic students.
Conditions of Enrolment
Enrolments are dependent upon vacancies and the following conditions:
1. At least one parent attends an interview with the Principal or her representative.
2. The parents sign an acceptance of school policy, rules and parental involvement.
3. Students must be either Australian citizens or have permanent residency status.

Thank you for considering Mercedes College for your daughter’s learning journey. We understand that finding the right school for your daughter is important and that the school’s environment and standard of education have a lasting impact on her future.
Parents are encouraged to visit the College to see the unique and vibrant learning environment our students are privileged to be a part of in the heart of Perth’s CBD. Tours are conducted throughout the year, and two Open Mornings are held in March and September.
