A range of activities form an important part of the co-curricular life of the College.  Students develop skills and interests in many varied fields and the activities contribute to the broad educational experience offered by Mercedes College. 

Academic clubs include; Amnesty, Book Clubs, Da Vinci Decathlon, Debating, Information Technology, IT Angels, Mock Law, Opti-Minds, Philosophy and Writing Clubs.

Cultural pursuits include the House Arts Festival (Drama/Dance, Choir), Drama, Media, Languages, Music, Public Speaking, Speech and Design and Visual Arts.

To build on the College's community spirit, students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of sports during and after school.  This might be local sport or high level competitions through interschool and competitions including ACC AFLW (Years 9 & 10), 'A' Div. Athletics, Basketball, Cross Country, Hockey, Netball, 'A' Div. Swimming, Year 7 & 8 Lightning Carnivals and Year 7 Super Series (Netball, Soccer and Basketball), Volleyball WA High Schools Cup, Volleyball WA Beach Volleyball, SSWA Triathlon and many more.

In addition the Mercedes College Hockey Club (1991), the Mercedes Netball Club (a parent run club, contact Primary Contact) and the Kingsway Swim Club operate through the College.
